My wife and I decided to fly Frontier Airline to Las Vegas last March for a short weekend getaway. The price was reasonable and OK, considering it was a short flight from Phoenix. Was it exactly what we expected on our return? Not exactly. We learned that we weren’t assigned seats despite having a ticket.  We were informed to wait for a cancellation; otherwise, we would fly out on another flight, which would be hours away. The check-in wasn’t that great. For an agent to help, we must pay a fee. When we finally made it inside, we couldn’t help but sigh in relief.

So expect some tradeoff. Something must give way for something else.
